Hello! I'm Lara Czornyj (ch-OR-nee), an artist based in Brighton & Hove. I use a variety of mediums in my work, which is heavily influenced by our deep connection to the natural world and the stories and places I've encountered through my travels. My pieces also reflect my background in dance.

 

My most recent work is becoming more experimental - I'm exploring new styles and enjoying the process of finding a new way of creatively expressing.

I have a diploma in Art & Design and a BA in Set Design for TV & Film. In my early career, I worked in art departments for film & television, before taking my art "online" as I spent time travelling around New Zealand, Canada, Australia and Asia. I have some experience as a book illustrator, and most recently as a social media and website content designer, working alongside small UK charities.

When I'm not creating, you'll find me exploring new landscapes, in a dance class, playing music, or on my yoga mat.
